Who We Are

About the Agency
The Montgomery Area Family Violence Program,
Inc. operates under the public name of Family Sunshine Center. It is a
United Way, social service agency whose purpose is to end family violence
and foster hope and healing. The Center serves families caught in the
cycle of family violence, which includes spouse, child, sibling, and elder
abuse.
The Family Sunshine Center (FSC) was established in 1981. Our agency is
classified as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, which includes a
service area of seven Alabama counties: Autauga, Butler, Chilton,
Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery.
