We Do > Outreach

| The Outreach / Prevention Education Program, made up of staff and
volunteers, provides awareness and prevention education programs that
inform the public of the problem of family violence and resources that are
available to help families during a time of crisis.
Workshops and training sessions are offered that teach students,
parents, educators, churches, civic groups, businesses and professional
organizations how to recognize and prevent violence as well as ways to be
of assistance to family violence victims and their families.

Second Step, FSC's PriMary prevention education program offered
in Montgomery County Elementary Schools, is funded by Children's
Trust Fund.
