Tennis Across Montgomery was created in 1995 by Coach John
McWilliams to offer tennis lessons to children without an opportunity to
play the game and to raise money for the Family Sunshine Center. For the
eleventh consecutive year, about 75 children will participate in a free
tennis clinic. Each year of the event has seen an increase in fundraising
over the previous, with more than $37 thousand being raised in 2004.
