American families, women and children are killed or injured every year.
Each day, at least three children die of abuse or neglect. Domestic
Violence is the number one killer of women. Fortunately, prevention and
intervention are possible.
The Family Sunshine Center exists to end family
violence and foster hope and healing in seven Alabama counties: Autauga,
Butler, Chilton, Crenshaw, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery. One of our
